2. Description of Service

Web2Markdown provides a URL to Markdown conversion API service designed for AI agents and developers. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time with reasonable notice.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys
  • Use the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Not use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Not interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Comply with the Acceptable Use Policy
  • Respect the terms of service of websites you extract content from

4. API Usage

Your API usage is subject to your subscription plan limits. Excessive usage may result in rate limiting or temporary suspension. We encourage local caching to reduce redundant API calls.

5. Payment Terms

Payments are processed through Creem, our Merchant of Record. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay all fees associated with your chosen plan
  • Provide accurate billing information
  • Automatic renewal unless canceled before the renewal date
  • Fees are non-refundable except as described in our refund policy

6. Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you will be downgraded to the Free plan.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to the content you extract using our service. We claim no ownership over content processed through our API. However, you are responsible for ensuring your use of extracted content complies with copyright and other applicable laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

Web2Markdown is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service, including but not limited to indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or notice on our website. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
